The district of Nürnberger Land, located in the middle of Bavaria, consists of 27 cities and municipalities. The region is managed in the town of Lauf an der Pegnitz. The landscape is primarily characterized by forest, agriculture and the river Pegnitz. Thanks to its proximity to the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region, the Nuremberg Land is very well connected with many motorways and train connections, which makes the region interesting both as a residential area and for the local and national economy.
