Wiesbaden is the capital of Hessen and with 15 thermal and mineral springs one of Europe's oldest spas. The inner city of Wiesbaden is characterized mainly by the many historic buildings, all of which are held in a very consistent style. Wiesbaden is also a film city. In addition to numerous media companies the major film organizations are based here as well. In addition a part of the region is a great wine-growing place.
