Edemissen is a municipality in the district of Peine in Lower Saxony, which originated from original six towns and exists in its present form since the 1970s. In the original districts of Edemissen exist buildings which go back to the 12th century. One of them is the well-known knights' estate Ankensen, which attracts tourists, but is also a favorite place for the weddings. Edemissen is also a popular destination for leisure with its many cycle paths, green areas and an 18-hole golf course.
