Geography: Baden- Württemberg is located in the southwest of Germany and is the third largest federal state. The state capital is Stuttgart. It borders at the French region of Elsass, Switzerland and Austria. Through this state flow some of the largest rivers in Germany : the Necker, the Rhine and the Donau.

Culture: Since 1999, the local government advertises with the slogan "We can do everything. Except speak High German." Which refers to the very strong dialects spoken here "Frankish","Schwäbisch" and "Allemannisch".

Economy: The country is one of the strongest economic regions in Europe, particularly in research and development as well as industrial high technology.
